Bringing Flagstone Back to Life in SLO

Natural flagstone is meant to age with character — not disappear under years of dirt, staining, and environmental wear. Recently, we were entrusted with restoring an older flagstone installation that had lost its depth, color, and vibrancy here in San Luis Obispo. Instead of just pressure washing it and leaving a mess along with damaged Flagstone or grout, we performed a deep cleaning designed for natural stone. 
Following our deep cleaning and a controlled pressure rinse, we let the stone dry. Natural stone must be completely dry before sealing. We allowed appropriate dry time to ensure  maximum bond and long-term performance. Following this, we applied a professional grade penetrating sealer made for natural stone. This particular sealer enhanced and deepened the stones colors. If one prefers a more natural look, there are good, penetrating sealers that we use that after being applied, don’t change the appearance.
